Return Policy
1) Request for Return Authorization - Merchandise Eligibility
Subject to Section 2 below, you may submit a Request for Return Authorization to Dynabook Americas for merchandise purchased from Shop.US.Dynabook.com if it meets one of the following conditions:
a. No-Trouble-Found merchandise and you submit a Request for Return Authorization within thirty (30) days from the Order date (“Regular Return Period”).
b. In-Transit visible damage to outside carton of the merchandise as received by you and you submit a Request for Return Authorization within seven (7) days from the date of receipt of your Order (”In-Transit Damage Return Period”).
c. In-Transit visible damage to the merchandise as received by you and you submit a Request for Return Authorization during the In-Transit Damage Return Period.
d. The merchandise is Dead On Arrival (“DOA”) which means the merchandise does not power up or is not operational when first plugged into a non-battery power source and you submit a Request for Return Authorization during the Regular Return Period.
2) Merchandise Not Eligible for Return
Merchandise is not eligible for return if any of the following conditions exist:
a. The merchandise was not purchased from Shop.US.Dynabook.com.
b. The Request for Return Authorization is submitted after the Regular Return Period or In-Transit Damage Return Period, whichever is applicable.
c. You have not received a Return Authorization from Dynabook Americas.
d. The merchandise shows any signs of end-user abuse, misuse, neglect or modification.
e. The merchandise was marked as "Final Sale" or "Special Order" at time of purchase, unless inspection confirms the merchandise is DOA.
3) Return Authorization Requests Process
a. For merchandise purchased on Shop.US.Dynabook.com, prior to sending merchandise back to Dynabook Americas, you must submit a Return Authorization request via email directly to “DBA-OrderSupport@dynabook.com.”
b. In your Return Authorization request, please include:
· The reason for the request to return products purchased;
· The Order ID Number and Order Date;
· Full Name listed on the Order;
· The model and serial number of each merchandise that you seek to return; and
· Photos of any in-transit damage to carton or merchandise if you are requesting return of products due to in-transit damage to the outside of the box or due to in-transit product damage upon delivery.
c. Dynabook Americas will endeavor to review and respond within five (5) business days of receipt of your Return Authorization request.
d. If your Return Authorization request is approved, you’ll receive via email a Return Authorization number and a return shipping label.
4) Returns Procedures – Shipping Merchandise to Dynabook Americas
a. Once you receive a Return Authorization, you must send back the merchandise properly packaged to the address provided on the Return Authorization and shipping label within seven (7) days. Dynabook Americas will not accept late returns.
b. All returned merchandise must be prepared with “proper packaging” which means all original packaging components, literature, software, warranties, and accessories are included in their original condition, safely and responsibly packaged for return shipment to Dynabook Americas.
c. The Return Address is provided on the Return Authorization label(s) provided by Dynabook Americas. You must only use the Return Authorization label(s) provided by Dynabook Americas.
5) Inspection
a. Dynabook Americas will endeavor to inspect any merchandise sent back to Dynabook Americas for return within 5-7 business days of receipt by Dynabook Americas.
b. Passing Inspection
i. Merchandise is inspected and passed inspection.
ii. Returned merchandise is approved for refund.
c. Failing Inspection
Dynabook Americas may deny your request for a refund or adjust the refund amount, if, in its sole discretion, any of the following is discovered during inspection:
1. Merchandise that shows any signs of end-user abuse, misuse, neglect or modification.
2. Missing Items.
a. If any packaging, components, literature, software, warranties and/or accessories are missing, Dynabook Americas may deduct the value of the missing items based on the order price from your refund.
3. Damage to merchandise during return shipment to Dynabook Americas as a result of improper packaging by customer.
4. Any merchandise received back by Dynabook Americas that is damaged in any way, not previously noted on the Return Authorization request, may be deemed ineligible for a refund.
6) Refund
a. If the merchandise is eligible for return and a refund is approved, Dynabook Americas shall issue a refund back to the original payment method equal to the purchase price of the merchandise, less any deductions as set forth in this Return Policy.
b. No-Trouble-Found Returns: Will be subject to a 15% restocking fee of the merchandise price paid at the time the Order was placed. Restocking fees will be deducted from the refund issued.
DOA or In-Transit Damage Returns: For any merchandise that is determined by Dynabook Americas to be DOA or subject of any in-transit damage, Dynabook Americas will refund the total cost of the merchandise price paid at the time of the Order.
From time to time, Dynabook Americas may choose to change the Return Policy. Dynabook Americas will notify you of material changes to the Return Policy by posting the revised Return Policy on Dynabook Americas Online Store with an updated effective date. Dynabook Americas recommends that you check back on a periodic basis to review the then current Return Policy. Any updates, revisions, supplements, modifications or amendments to the Return Policy shall be effective immediately upon its posting via Dynabook Americas Online Store and will only be applicable to disputes arising, or arising out of events occurring, after such posting has been made. You agree that you will continue to be bound by the Return Policy, however and whenever it is updated, revised, supplemented, modified, or amended, if you continue to purchase from Dynabook Americas Online Store after the updates, revisions, supplements, modifications, or amendments have been posted.
This Return Policy is effective as of February 3, 2025.
